The "identity" must have an email account somewhere in the name/address
of the identity you created.

You can SEND an email using a created ID but not receive mail from that
ID because it doesn't exist outside your local system.

Jay,my aceweb account shows both my e-mail address [email protected] and the newly added address [email protected]. My SM account shows both addresses namely Richard Lane <[email protected]> which is my ieee alias presently set to aceweb.com and Mary Hollander <[email protected]>. Editing either address shows for me Your Name Richard Lane Email Address [email protected] Reply to Address is blank and for Mary Your Name Mary Hollander Email Address [email protected] Reply to Address [email protected]
