Normally you can close Tabs with an middleclick on the Tab, so an extra Close-Button was not really needed. But maybe the Add-On "Tab Clicking Options" https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/260 will add an Close-Button into the Tabs.
