Is there a built-in function or a compatible addon (such as User Agent
Switcher - not compatible with 2.0) that allows switching user agent in
SM2 for those retarded sites that don't recognize Seamonkey as a secure
browser?
PrefBar has a built in UA switcher, and works in SM 2.0.

I don't know if it will work in SM 2 But I did this for my Bank which
its browser Sniffer software keyed on FireFox not gecko.
do about:config
in search box type: user or user agent.
you should see some with User agent string.
double click on it and when edit box type one very end of the string
/not/Firefox/2.0
the number could be 3.5.4
The sniffer would key in on the word FireFox, But because of the not in
the string it tells Google and others its not Firefox.
I'm using PrefBar
That seems to have worked for my local water bill. I could only find the
following: general.useragent.extra.seamonkey so I changed it to:
SeaMonkey/2.0/not/Firefox/
But I still have to change my UA when I want to purchase .mp3's at Walmart:
http://www.walmart.com/
Click on Movies, Music & Books, and then MP3 Downloads.
Any way to change the Default UA string to accommodate their browser
sniffer?
Currently I change to a custom UA string:
Label: SeaMonkey2
Value: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.17)
Gecko/20080829 NOT Firefox/2.0.0.12 SeaMonkey/1.1.12
