I loaded Lightning 1.pre and I don't see how to add the tool bar buttons.
Am I missing something?
I don't think it has toolbar icons. It's present in the tab bar if
shown, and it's present in the menu bar (Events and Tasks).

After looking at Lightning 1.pre in in SeaMonkey for a while, it seems a
lot of things don't work quite right and I'm not sure if its a
Lightening or a SeaMonkey issues.
What is the relationship between the two projects? Can we expect
Lightening to integrate with SeaMonkey when 1.0 is released?
After running it for sometime now, I'm pretty happy with it overall.
Perhaps this thread should be moved over (eventually) to
mozilla.support.calendar or mozilla.dev.apps.calendar, but what "lot of
things don't work quite right" for you in SeaMonkey 2.0?
Since this is a different version than I've used and since it's not done
yet I'm not sure if the problem is me or the software (either Lightening
or SeaMonkey).
For Example the only way I can find to open the Calendar Tab is though
the "Events and Tasks" Menu or a key combination. It seems there should
to be a button somewhere to do that without going through the menus.
I would also expect that the View -> Calendar -> Month View would open a
Calendar Tab if it wasn't already open, but it doesn't
Full Integration, I think, would add a Calendar button at the bottom of
the window next to the Browser, Mail, Composer, Addressbook Chatzilla
buttons,
The previous versions had tool bar buttons you could add to give more
direct access. I guess I was expecting something that operates a little
more like the current version or Sunbird.
Once I get it open the way I want it does seem to work, as far as I've
tested it. I'll probably get used to it sooner or later.
