Is this the same mail, or original mail is just being downloaded *too frequently* for you? Have you checked your "Server Settings" under Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings? You can set how often you want mail downloaded, and make sure "Leave messages on server" is not checked, unless you have a reason to do so. That will cause the same mail to be downloaded according to the setting option you have chosen.
