No idea if it's a 'transformed' document...

Unfortunately remembering passwords has nothing to do with the issue. My password is remeberred just fine and I can see it in the Password Manager. It is just not prefilled into the page which is a result of transformation of XML to HTML. And yes, you have to understand what that transformation means.
