I've got AVG 8.5 Eree Edition, which I just now updated to 8.5.425. Some time ago, when I had AVG 8.0, an incremental update put me at 8.5. While the AVG Web site does promote AVG 9.0, it does not indicate any termination of support for AVG 8.5. Indeed, updates to the paid edition of AVG 8.5 are still available. When support of 8.5 does end, I would expect an update to put me at 9.0. Your comment about E-mail is strange. I'm using Eudora Lite 3.0.6, which is about 12 years old. AVG 8.5 scans incoming E-mail just fine and even adds headers to the messages to indicate that they have been scanned. -- David E.
