I just wanted to clarify for the OP that you don't want to use the original SM 1.1.X profile in SM 2.X. The 1.1.X profile will remain unchanged, so you can go back to it if desired. Instead, as Martin pointed out, you want to "migrate" the contents of the 1.1.X profile to a new 2.X profile.
