This is new...
I bought a program called "Graphic Workshop Professional" from
Alchemy Mindworks.
I get update messages now and then and never had any problems
downloading them - until today!
I went to their download site:
http://www.mindworkshop.com/alchemy/gwspro.html#download
and when I try downloading using "Winget", a message window pops
up - "Authentication Required" !
Never happened before !
Google shows this to be some new MicroSoft rubbish. (?)
Has this happened to anyone here ?
My Server username and password don't work in it, so I have no idea
WTF is required.

Is this a SeaMonkey issue?
It seems to me (unless I'm missing something) that you should contact the
vendor.
SM 1.1 Issue? I don't know. Is it ?
I did contact the Vendor - no answer to date.
Has this come up for anyone else ?
Is it a new thing ? I NEVER saw this kind of thing before today.

I'm sorry I wasn't very clear. Can you please explain what makes you
think this is a SeaMonkey issue?
Do you have the same problem if you try in a different browser?
I thought perhaps SM 1.1 was requiring some form of Username and password
related to the E-Mail or Server username and password...because I had never
seen such a thing before and where else would such a requirement come from?
If it is not related to my server account, WTF is it then ?
I certainly do not have a username/password account for downloading anywhere.
One never knows about such things if one is not amongst the elite folk who
write and build software.
Yes?
Is it REALLY that important that I justify my question any further?
Have I committed a heinous transgression by asking ?
