Just keep in mind that spammers will send e-mail with such 'opt-out' links on them just to see if your e-mail address is any good. If you hit their opt-out, they've just verified your e-mail address and it is now worth a lot more money to other spammers. Of course, there are some reputable companies out there that won't do this, but I would not personally risk it. Instead, I would invest in a decent spam filter.
