Perhaps not. Firefox Mobile has reimplemented the quick launch technology which they call "fastload". Not to mention a splash screen as well o_O . We just need to port over their code. Having said that we have very limited manpower so it's unlikely we will actually do this unless some volunteer steps out of the blue to do this for us of course.
