Because of a need to install a replacement hard drive on my wife's 966
mHz P3 PC, I am thinking of moving her from SM v.1.1.14 to SM v.2.01.
1) Is there a good discussion around somewhere addressing the pros and
cons of SM v.1.1.18 vs SM v.2.01?
2) What do I need particularly save in such a move to either SM v.1.1.18
or SM v.2.01? I have located the existing SM v.1.1.14 mail files and
copied them. Or, should I simply save the entire profile folder to a
CD-R and copy it into the equivalent place in either SM v.1.1.18 or SM
v.2.01? Where do I find the SM v.1.1.14 address book and bookmark files?
3) I have a dim recollection that there are migration issues when moving
from SM 1.x to SM 2.x. Is there a good tutorial on what these are if,
in fact, there such migration issues?
Thanks, in advance, for any and all assistance. Now, into my 70s, I
find keeping up with all the things one needs to know a bit harder than
it used to be.
