I was on SM 1.7 and it was working fine. I upgraded to SM2.0.1. First I
was not able to send. Changing the auth setting the SM 2.0.1 changed fixed
that. Then I ran into the address book issue. Where deleting the OA
address book that SM 2.0.1 creates, fixes the issue. There is a bug about
that. Then about day 3 of using it SM stopped receiveing emails. It keep
complaining that it could not connect. I have a local imap server too that
I use and trying to connect to that it would say the connection was refused.
Yet there was no connection attempt. I tested the connection to my ISP with
telnet sessions to both smtp port and pop port. There was not problem with
the connection. I checked my router and there was no issue there. I
uninstalled and reinstalled 2.0.1. Still the same issue. I downloaded 1.8.
I uninstalled SM 2.0.1 and installed SM 1.8. Now my email is working again
like it should. What did they break in SM 2.0.1?
