Could someone tell us in what directory SM2 has been installed.
Question is for windows os, default directory, not the profile.

C:\Program Files\SeaMonkey2

In my WindowsXP with SM1.1.X it is:
C:\Program Files\mozilla.org\SeaMonkey

I find strange that with SM2 it is not:
C:\Program Files\mozilla.org\SeaMonkey2

Or just plain \SeaMonkey as it is for me on MS Vista
is it C:\Program Files\SeaMonkey
or C:\Program Files\mozilla.org\SeaMonkey ?

It is C:\Program Files\SeaMonkey

Install of SM2 do not overwrite anything from SM1 since the mozilla.org directory is not used. I could use both until I uninstalled SM1 (from the Control panel) and deleted manually everything in the SM1 Profile directory.

The new default location for SM made a big positive benefit for me. Services on the web that did not worked with SM1 works now. For example, I could not use my online bank with SM1 since it was impossible to log in to my account. With SM2 it works perfectly without my need to do any "preparations" at all.
