All local directories point to the NEW (2.0.1) profile, I had already checked
this.
But in this very moment I found the reason for my problem:
In 'Settings' (not the mail-and-newsgroup settings, but the 'normal' settings),
there are the categories:
Appearance, Browser, and Mail & Newsgroups, Composer,...
Under 'Mail & Newsgroups' you can define an address of a file that will be
shown as a e-mail starting page. The standard-address would be
'chrome://messenger/content/start.xhtml'. I had changed this address (in SM 1.18)
to my local inbox file... which was imported in Sm 2.0.1.
Removing this link to my old inbox solved the problem ;-)
