i am sorry but do not understand your msg. i am still searching where i
could find the entry named "use name and password". In which window i
can uncheck this option. Preference and Mail & Newsgroup... does not
contain this entry or?
i wellcome your invitation to "de.comm.software.mozilla.mailnews" but i
don't know how to use it.
By the way:
this problem appears at windowsXP as well as eCS/OS2 systems. I changed
two entries in about:config and the send proclem disappears but a new
one raised for the browser, wich means that is no solution to my problem.
