BTDT; "been there done that", hasnt worked. Didn't work on the first try
either.
The authors should address this problem, I bet there are a bunch of people
like myself who are holding off until it gets solved. Especially passwords.
Umm, you will have to be more specific with the exact problem your
having; What OS, what Settings, is anything migrated, does it create new
profiles, do you have your old profile in a non-default place, do you
share with other SM versions etc.
All of this is important, if there truely is a major bug in this we
would love to address it but without more info we can't do much. Not
knowing why it fails when it works and has worked fully for us makes
fixing this impossible [without your help].
