Not happening here on Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
Try starting in Safe Mode, to see if there is an extension causing this.

I think that the problem might be with my 64 bit build of SM. I
downloaded and ran the 32 bit binaries in a chrooted environment and the
website came up fine. The problem happens when I run the 64 bit SM that
I compiled from source in order to use on Ubuntu 8.04. Everything else
seems to be working fine.
When you guys compile SM, do you add any arguments to the Configure
script? I would like to recompile it using the same arguments that the
developers use for the official build. This is my about:buildconfig
