I did not and it still has me on the old version instead of the new one.

SeaMonkey 2.0.x is a very different product then SeaMonkey 1.1.18. It installs to a different location then 1.1.18 on Windows. When it is installed, it migrates your profile data to a new location as well.

Once this is done, SM 2.0.x an SM 1.1.18 exist independently on your Windows computer. You can uninstall 1.1.18 if you are sure that you want to go to 2.0.x.

There is a problem about shortcuts, and which version they are pointing to. If you have installed 2.0.x, go to:

C:/Program Files/SeaMonkey

Open seamonkey.exe and verify that 2.0.x opens.

The above will work on Windows XP and Vista, I have no direct knowledge of Windows 7. By the way, its a good idea to state your exact OS when posting a support question.
