SM 2 uses notification bars at the top of the display area to ask whether to store log-in information after the log-in procedure has been initiated. If this is what you are talking about as well and it doesn't work for you then one of your extensions might cause the issue. Have you tried starting SM in Safe Mode (AFAIK there should be an entry in the start menu if you used the installer)? > 2. Is this > normal? SM 2 uses a different password manager than SM 1.x. It will only fill in the log-in form automatically if there is exactly one set of log-in credentials stored for the site. If there are multiple sets to choose from you can either click one of the log-in form fields with the mouse or use the down (arrow) key on the keyboard. Either way a drop-down of all account names stored for the site will be shown from which you can choose. Use Return/Enter to fill the form with the highlighted entry or use the Del key to (permanently!) delete the associated log-in credentials.
