Preferences offers a way to change Helper Applications but not the
Default - and I'm stuck with an unavoidable default to an unworkable
app.
In preferences (for Mac) or whatever its called for PC's go to
Browser > helper applications. choose jpg double-click and button will
appear it will give you option browse for a desired application
