Well, if your mail client is getting far enough to get that error, then
it's talking to the target SMTP server, and that server is reporting
the error.

I would guess the problem is at that end - not with your e-mail client.

Their logs would show these problems, if you were able to get that far
into their technical organization - they could determine from those logs
what was going wrong.
