This sounds very much the same as the problem that I had with the
Federal Trade Commission site.  See the thread "Bad Certificate" started
yesterday in this same newsgroup.

I have submitted bug report #548380 to provide a better user interface
for dealing with this situation.  See
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=548380>.  At the end of
that report, I describe my workaround, which requires a separate profile.

Go to Mozdev at <http://www.mozdev.org/> for quick access to
extensions for Firefox, Thunderbird, SeaMonkey, and other
