Closest I can see at the moment is, when I am already logged into a
channel, I can go IRC->Join Channel, but if I'm not logged in anywhere,
the "Join Channel" is greyed out.
No, but you can set commands to execute on entering a server, and that will let
you auto-join rooms when you select the server. I actually think you can auto
attach to servers at startup, but that seemed likely to be a PITA so I never
tried. :-)
