Right click on a blank space on (e.g.) the navigation toolbar. Select
"Settings for this toolbar". Pick your options.

Repeat for each toolbar you want to change. The bookmarks toolbar is a
bit tricky since the bookmark right-click menu usually overrides that
menu. I normally right click on the left edge of that toolbar (near the
home button).
