When I launched SM this morning, my bookmark toolbar had disappeared. I figured I must have disabled it without realising it, but that wasn't the case: when I checked in my bookmarks, none were showing. Yet, in my profile, the bookmark file was there as usual.

I thought something must have been messed up somehow when I launched SM, so I shut it down and restarted it. Oh, my bookmarks were back alright, but not the right ones: those that were imported when I switched from 1.1.8 to 2.0 (which I'd modified since, including by adding a bookmark toolbar). But that's not it: everything was there twice. Not AA, BB, CC, etc. twice, but rather A B C D E, etc. followed again by A B C D E.

Everything else is working fine. All my email is there, as are all my blogs and newsgroups. It's no biggie recreating my bookmarks, but this is still some strange behaviour that, to me, doesn't bode well.

Does anyone have an idea of what's going on? Or has anyone experienced anything similar?

S.
