Huh? Where did you get that? Did you even read the announcement? It really doesn't sounds like it. For example, as part of that message, he said (paraphrased): SM 1.x is really old. SM 2.X is new and should be used if possible. ... for those that cannot upgrade to 2.X now, there is a final 1.X release available, 1.1.19, which fixes some security stuff ... There will be no further SM 1.x releases.
