As Subject says, but it does work in IE. No matter what choices are
made
in the pick lists, everything reverts to defaults at Step 3 in SM. No
difference with Java on or off. For the record, my choices: Step 1,
Windows; Step 2, Windows XP; Step 3, Hyperion Pro (4in1) chipset
drivers.

No problems here in my updated 64-bit W7 HP OEM with a bunch of
extensions (e.g., Adblock Plus). I also don't use referrers and have
cookies enabled.

HOWEVER, disabled cookies made it not work as you said. :( So, it's
cookies related.

I enabled cookies for the site, quit everything SM, and restarted. But
it still wouldn't work for me. Finally I went to
Edit->Preferences->Privacy& Security->Cookies and told it to 'Allow
all cookies' and 'Accept cookies normally' ... success. So,
conditional OKs for cookies are sometimes not sufficient.

You are possibly getting cookies from other sites, did you check what
cookies it added?

Only difference I see in _VIA_ cookies taken on betweeen one setting and the
other is
one named 'ASP.NET_SessionId' with cookie permissions wide open. From 5 planted
from
the site under my default settings to 6 when wide open.

As for non-site cookies, there are too many for me to be sure of counting
reliably,
but I don't see anything suspicious or unrelated to other places I've been.

was able to go to page just fine 2.0. SM (Mac)
