That's news to me. I have seen an obvious improvement on the speed front
as soon as I switched to 2.x. Same thing happened with everyone I know,
including some that have old, old, old computers...

I've noticed slower response. in the Browser portion.
Many sites never finish loading unless you click Reload at least once or
twice the Load indicators keep going and going. I use DSL so I am not
using a POTS line.
Oh, I am using MacOSX.4.11
