Barb, Lucky you. My office partner's aol account is now working fine again, like yours, but my aim email is still triggering the same error. I use Thunderbird, and I removed and reinstalled the aim account, and it worked fine for a couple hours, then back to the same error. Any thoughts or fixes out there?
