I can't find the Use name and password checkbox - can you please tell me

Go to:
- Edit
- then choice: Mail and Newsgroup account settings...
- Click on the left pane at the last entry: Outgoing Server (SMTP)
- Choice the one giving your trouble and click: Edit
Here you have your options - i just have the smtp server name, the port
25 and the rest is "none" or unchecked.
