Fri, 04 Jun 2010 14:30:51 -0700, /Mel Weisblatt/:

I recently upgraded from 1.1.18 to 2.0.4 and I can't seem to figure out how to get all my addresses, bookmarks, stored passwords and preferences into the new version. I use Windows XP Home Version, and with 1.1.18 the information I need was stored in Documents and Settings/ Owner/ Applications Data/ Mozilla. I cannot find where it is now stored and how to transfer the files from the old version to the new version.

Normally when you first install and run SeaMonkey 2.0 it will start the migration wizard allowing you to choose a SeaMonkey 1.* profile to migrate. If for some reason you've missed that you could initiate the migration manually (see "Manual migration"):

The SeaMonkey 2.* profile locations are slightly different from SeaMonkey 1.*:

http://www.seamonkey-project.org/doc/2.0/profiles#location

While the SeaMonkey 1.* profiles usually go into:

%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Profiles

The SeaMonkey 2.* profiles usually go into:

%APPDATA%\Mozilla\SeaMonkey\Profiles
