and the 'pop-up blocker' prevents it from opening another 'pop-up.'

There are lots of ads 'n' things at godaddy.com. It's not surprising.
I have looked everywhere I could think of;-)
Since there is no real web site for lookupanyonetoday.com, I don't have
any further thoughts for you. -- other than it's not a browser problem.
Somehow it has insinuated itself into either a scheduled tasks
which I cannot find, or the start-up folder which reveals nothing,
or some other semi-automatic method.
I'll take your response as meaning there is no place within the browser
where this sort of automatic start-up could occur. Thanks.
