They hog memory in FireFox as well. It takes cache memory away from
normal operation to save all the contents of that page into memory.
Do you open 21 windows instead? Do 21 windows take less memory?
What about CPU usage even when idled? :(
Pages with scripts constantly running (e.g. Yahoo mail) and
especially Flash loaded pages could take quite some CPU, even in
background.
