Sigh... I wonder when mainstream sites will ever get the 'gecko'
message.

Never, Because the Mozilla Org people are not explaining it to the
people.

Then how about we do it for them?

Build a buzz ...

1. Make a catchy animated video and put it on YouTube and Facebook and
elsewhere.

2. Send one or more messages every day for a week or two to anyone you
can think of who is involved in Web development (different
people each time). Include the video link.

3. Add the video link and a brief message it to your sig.

4. Post a note and the video link on your Blog, Web page, Facebook
page, Twitter-it.

5. Send a Bug Report, Service Request, Web Feedback *every* time you
spot anyone browser-sniffing. Include the video link.

If 10 people do this for a week or two it may not go-viral but it a
hundred did ...

WDYT?

Good idea! The Mozilla developers have many and amazing skills,
but it is possible that the skill of marketing is not among them!

Definitely their all tech weenies like us. Back in olden days they would be called Propellerheads ;-)
