Good question with a couple of options...

First, the reason this is happening is that the html message format image links reference local files on your computer which are not there when you send the message to others as they cannot access your hard drive after they receive your message.

The easiest path (but not the best) is to right click the message header and "forward" the entire message... doing it this will re-embed the images in the full email.

However (imho) doing this is terrible as it often ends a mass of bad email formatting and quoting depending on how many incarnations the original message has gone through.

Turns out there IS an easy option to save ALL messages from an html message... in the message frame, view/messagebodyas/plaintext

When you do this, all of the images will show up in the attachments window... right click there and select "Save all" and they are ready to paste into a clean new message.

Hope that this information is of value.
