Yes it is - they call it "Instant". It's been in all the news for the
last couple of days, and the subject of a number of threads here and
elsewhere. (Disabling JavaScript makes it go away...)

You can turn it off in Search Settings.
Thanks ... i set the "Do not use Google Instant" option.
Now, it's better and also better for the bandwidth.
