Do you have direct access to the machine? If so, have you checked System Preferences to be sure that the mouse preferences have not become garbled? Is this only happening in SeaMonkey? You might try having her reboot the machine, which might clear something. It doesn't sound like a SeaMonkey issue, rather something. In the OS.
