Clearer? Your first post clearly states your server is an IMAP one...
If I've understood correctly your need, you just have to create a filter
on your office computer to automatically move all incoming messages to a
local folder.
In general, IMAP is really better than POP: one can flag messages in
various ways (new, deleted, answered...).
