For what its worth, SeaMonkey 1.1.7 has many security issues in the wild, so I do NOT recommend staying with this version.
When you delete the .exe of the program and even the add/remove programs uninstall, you DO NOT lose the profile data, that is maintained in your "documents and settings" folder on windows. [and 1.1.x and 2.0 use different profile directories entirely, due to a large change in the underlying structure there, to bring us closer with what Firefox-proper uses for a code-base]
