Sounds like you're talking about changing the programming in the add-on.
Best bet would be to go to 'http://autofillforms.mozdev.org/support.html' and have a read of the documentation for that add-on. If that doesn't answer your questions, then use the link to their dedicated newsgroup and ask there. Their developer(s) can give you a better answer than from here.
