Are .jpg attachments allowed here? I have a screen save that says what it

That is a real PIA when all we are trying to do is provide a little
visual help and support. As long as this newsgroup is restricted to
text only the above link will allow images, but another option is to
subscribe to Mozilla.text.multimedia where both text and images are allowed.

I think you mean 'mozilla.test.multimedia'.
I'd not recommend that if I were you...
https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo
"test-multimedia A place to test posting and reading binaries with
Mozilla-based clients"
http://www.mozilla.org/about/forums/
"mozilla.test.multimedia(#) For binary test messages."
https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/test-multimedia
"This list and newsgroup is a place to test posting and reading binaries
with Mozilla-based clients. This newsgroup is moderated to avoid people
using it for anything other than testing purposes."
Lot of history of folks who thought it was/is for support; search this
newsgroup and/org Google 'mozilla newsgroups +multimedia'.
In other words Michael They not only frown on but forbid the use of
screenshot for any purpose on the Mozilla Groups even on the Mozilla
Test Multimedia group the rules are so convoluted That its impossible
to use that group.
They claim it is guidelines setup by Giganews.
Frankly I think the tie in with Giganews is the worst thing it that ever
happened to Mozilla. but that's my opinion.
easiest thing to use is go and download Jing works with PC or Mac. You
use it to take your screenshot or create your video clip the click on
share Its saved on a Screencast Server, they proved a link and then
paste the link. all this happens with in few seconds and you don't have
to look up a third party site, upload then go provide a link.
