My _guess_ is that 2.0 will try to import the kt8 profile & all will
work. However...

Were I you I'd try to clean up the profiles first; (backup everything
first) remove hef7 if it's not being used,

Do you mean just delete it? It contains a lot of cache files with dates of Jan 4 - 6, 2011. They must be there for some reason, and what happens when they get deleted? Also, both the kt8 and hef are under the default profile, so if the new SeaMonkey asks for the default folder won't it take both.

and then correct your pop.tcq.net mail.

How do I do that please? I have no idea what you're talking about.

When you switched to comcast you most likely used an
installer & that created a folder for comcast mail (even if you never
used it). You then probably just changed your pop & smtp settings to
point to the comcast pop & smtp,

That last sentence is true. It seemed logical to me at the time.

so your mail et al would still have
remained in the pop.tcq.net folder.

Why, if I changed my mail and smtp setting to comcast?

Sorry to be so dumb, but I would like my new upgrade to not have these flaws.
