Set your email account to check for new messages at startup. That should
make SeaMonkey open in your inbox.

I just stumbled across this thread as I catch up on about 250 messages
that I've yet to read.
My SeaMonkey had been opening on the Mail account, just as the OP's was.
I checked ChrisI's suggestion and it was spot on. Don't know how it got
un-ticked, things had been working for a year or so....only thing I've
done recently is install a ne version of my Mandriva Linux OS, but I'm
using the old OS now, so the answer is..............???
