I have, as a new user, set up Seamonkey 2.0.11 on my Laptop. Is
there a
way to install SM on another machine and import all the settings
from my
laptop?
Thank you.
copy the whole hierarchy of the profile on the other machine and use it
as is
Thank you very much That was easy!
I just did that. but I used Moz Backup. It was very easy to use and got
everything - passwords, bookmarks, emails!
from the support page of mozbackup :
Can I use MozBackup for synchronization between two PCs?
I don't think this is a good idea. If you use Firefox try Firefox Sync
which is better for such task. If you use Thunderbird try to think about
having your mails on server and access to them via IMAP protocol.
Familiar solution you can have for contacts.
I think mozbackup not enough documented
I got the impression that the OP was not trying to sync his new machine
to the old, just that he wanted the same bookmarks, email settings,
theme, etc. Sure you could do that stuff manually but why do that if
there is a tool available like MozBackup?
