have you compacted your inbox?
on one of my profiles I have an inbox at 6235Kb with another folder at
21649Kb and have no problems
why look at web mail it was intended for when you are away from home you
should be using pop at home, I did have problems with earthlink but can
not recall the issue it was too many ISPs back
try compacting then set up filters to move some to other folders set by
sender subject or date
