My wife wanted me to set up her email account on the laptop in the
family room so she wouldn't have to go upstairs to her office PC to see
if she has any new emails. So I set up a POP account on the laptop.
Now whenever the mail account is opened on the laptop all the unread
messages on her office PC are marked as read. You don't even have to
click on a message on the laptop, just opening SM mail does it.
The laptop account is set to:
Check for new messages at startup
Check for new messages every 3 minutes
Automatically download new messages
Leave messages on server
- Until I delete them
Any idea why this is happening? And how to prevent it? Thanks.
