I try to report a broken web site, but the "sending report" window

Is the report still being sent? If not, how do I make sure the report is
being sent?

This is bug #324366. See
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=324366>. It was dicsussed
on this newsgroup just last week.

I followed the newsgroup for years, starting with Netscape, but SM got
so good, I rarely had a problem to fix; for the same reason, I rarely
could help others. So, I dive in only when I have a problem.

By the way, please put a blank space after the "--" in your signature.
Per RFC 3676, the line before the signature in a newsgroup message
should be "-- " (dash-dash-space).

Who knew? Seems like a non-visible character is an odd choice - must be
some legacy reason behind it.

Anyway, from the bug report I learned it's not a bug anymore, it's an
"unsupported feature" because the service has been shut off. That
explains why it used to work and now it doesn't. So, no more "broken"
reports from here. I thought it was a good idea, but maybe SM is so good
now, it's not needed.

Flyguy, check out Help->about Seamonkey. In the Build Identify does it mention Firefox at all??

By including the word "Firefox" in the BI, sites that Browser sniff are fooled into thinking you are using FF not SeaMonkey, so the web site presents a page that SM can display.

Rather than trying to fix the web, the SM developers have decided to brake SM, IMHO, of course.
