I wish this tab thing had the old "x" in the upper right corner of each tab to delete it instead of right clicking each one to choose close tab.
You must have missed that the SeaTab X extension provides just that. Personally I've never missed it since middle clicking is much faster than trying to hit a small icon somewhere on the tab. Depending on where your fingers are, Ctrl+W might be even faster.
