I would like to install Thunderbird and Firefox in addition to SeaMonkey so that I can verify ISP and server problems with "supported" applications and avoid the support personnel finger pointing to the "unsupported" and unknown to them "SeaMonkey".
My ISP has an intermittent SMTP problem I've tried to get them to fix, they say it is my unsupported mail client. My bank had an access problem they blamed on SeaMonkey, but the Bank ultimately fixed their problem. I would like to be able to avoid these issues, but I want to continue to use SeaMonkey. Is it possible to install Thunderbird in addition to SeaMonkey so that it will use the SeaMonkey profile and mail files? Is it possible to install Firefox in addition to SeaMonkey and have it use the SeaMonkey profile, password, and bookmark files? It is my desire to be able to use Thunderbird or Firefox when troubleshooting a problem, thus avoiding the support folks blaming SeaMonkey for the problem being reviewed. Help Please?
